WY Points Question

A couple of questions, can I draw a WY deer tag without using points?
Second question, does the leftover draw use points?
I found this on the WYG&F website, but still not sure.

• There are NO Application Fees
• All unsuccessful applications will be refunded in full
• Preference points do not apply and you cannot accumulate another point in the leftover draw
• Residents/Nonresidents can apply in the same party (up to 6 members)
• Leftover draw results will be posted July 11

yes you can draw without using points (second choice or leftover draw). No the leftover draw does not affect your points.

That's what it says, but I'm not claiming to know. I copied that directly from the WY G&F website.

They will refund the cost of your license; they keep the app fee and cc processing fee for the main draw. There is no app fee for the leftover draw.

This is what the website says: "Residents and nonresidents MAY NOT apply together as a party."
