scroll to the btm, pick "comission regulations"

this also where you find those "archery dates" that most people can't seem to find.

Found "Commission Regulations" and the ever elusive archery season's. Which are not clearly defined or easy to find.....but the regulations on legal archery equiptment? cant find that. What section is it defined in? I think it went from 1 thru 40.

Thanks

The 2010 regulations that came with my tag say 40 lbs or more and ability to cast an arrow of 400 grains at least 160 yards (for deer...elk is 50 lbs and 500/160). Broadheads must have a minumum cutting width of one inch.

Or it is as easy as just calling the game and fish. Great folks and they answer your questions in plain english. They seem genuinely happy to help you.

You will need a lawyer to get it right and if you get it wrong.

Wyoming regs are short and concise which is good, unlike other states who want to manage hunters through copious amount of regulations.

We'll see y'all in Wyoming!

The regulations say "or", not "and". When hunting Deer, Antelope, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Mountain Lion or Black Bear, the archer must be equipped with a bow of not less than 40 pounds of draw weight or (that's OR, not AND) possessing the ability to cast a hunting arrow of 400 grain weight at least 160 yards. When hunting Elk, Moose or Wild Bison the hunter must be equipped with a bow of not less than 50 pounds draw weight or (that's OR, not AND) possessing the ability to cast an arrow of 500 grain weight at least 160 yards.
