One of my great friends and fellow professional guide went along with us, and was a tremendous help. The shot was 299 yds Cross canyon.
Fighting the sun in our eyes we just waited as they weren't going anywhere.
Proned out and comfortable, she settled in took her breath and squeezed off the shot. It was a little back butt connected, the nerves kicked in and the sheep moved a little and laid down.
Next shot hit her in the hoof, we just waited for her to expire then made our way to recover her. We said our prayers for her and the hunt, took pics and packed her out.
Thanks to Rojito for the help and companionship. We will never forget it.
