Youth deer application

I’ve read the regulations, and I think I’m still confused. If I put my son in for an X zone as his first choice, a youth hunt as his second choice and a D zone as his third choice, will he receive consideration for both the X and the youth hunt?

He will only be considered for his first choice. He will not get his youth hunt on a second choice. He’s better off, putting in for the youth hunt as his first choice is how I read it.

You need to put him in on his 1st deer tag application for an X zone as 1st choice and then something that doesn't fill as his second choice. Then, put him in for an apprentice hunt as his first choice on his 2nd deer tag application and either refund or another tag choice thar doesn't fill.
