Zion General Deer Incident

Anyone have any info or resolution on the incident last week on the Zion unit? The county sheriff and local DWR officer had a "roadblock" set up at a popular hunting area and were questioning individuals as they left... Apparently someone took a liking to a buck shot by another hunter and thought they would take it via the Wild Wild West way...

Not trying to stir anything up, just curious how many others may have seen/heard this.

Initial reports said the buck was a 2 point. but it may have had 3 on one side.

Not sure of the validity of anything at this point, but from the officers mouth hunter #1 was field dressing the deer(4 point) when another hunter donned in full camo emerged from the trees and pulled a sidearm and stated, “that’s my deer, it’s time for you to leave”. Hunter #1 left and called the authorities...

Crazy what some people will do for their Instagram trophy photo...
