lookin to see if anyone could help me out with zion unit, hoping to hunt otc rifle elk this fall, don't know much about this unit, I know a lot of private and a bunch of people that's about it, so any information will be greatly appreciated!

You summed it up little public land and lots of people. Odds are low to kill a bull.

I live on unit and avoid the rifle hunt. This year I will likely buy the 3 season tag and not go out during the rifle hunt. It's not worth it unless you live real close and can scout a lot.
