The only thing I wouldn't do is shoot something in velvet no matter how big it was. I just don't like 'em fuzzy. I don't know how one wouldn't hold out for hunting a rifle or muzzy unit during the rut.

I always hike around and phone skope deer in this unit in the fall. If I find anything cool before your hunt I'll let you know.

Looking at data it's doing REALLY well. They were going to triple tags this year and then rolled it back at the commission meeting. You got a really good tag methinks. There's a good Remi Warren Solo Hunter episode on youtube in this unit.

062 ALW cow tag with zero points! Not the tag I was expecting to draw. Can't believe I didn't get a muley muzzy tag that I put for last choice. I figured it was a 100% certainty with a 300%+ tag increase for the unit I applied for.

When the inevitable Soviet Union style collapse comes to the USA poaching will be the norm and hunting laws won't be enforced. Plan accordingly.

Depends on the hunt. I just looked for NR and it's much easier to draw a cow tag. About a tenth of the applications per tag.

Resident?! That's insanely bad luck not to get an archery tag. I drew both my ALW bull and cow tags with 3 points as a resident.

You're extremely unlucky if you're not just buying points. It's really hard as a resident not to draw a cow tag with 6 points.

I would guess more than likely you'll draw. I actually don't see how you wouldn't draw unless you put in for only the lowest % hunts.

Once the effects of the boosters finally manifest the odds will get better.
