Somebody must have this tag besides Corey and I. If you have hunted this unit for elk before post or pm me. I could always use a little last minute advice.

Hunted my butt off, the past 2 days, and only saw one raghorn and 2 cows(which was neat because thy walked right to us 25 yds and just fed around)I have to give my wife credit, shes hiked right beside me, and not complained once. She doesn't seem discouraged yet. Everyone that I have seen, have been either on a atv, or less than 300 yds from it. I had a bunch of bulls scouted, and they have vanished. I'm thinkin it has to do with the full moon, and a high of 70 doesn't help. My buddy shot a really nice bull over in 43 and said it was bugling, so I don't know if thats going to be a factor in my hunt or not?? Not 100% sure of the plan of attack for tomorrow, but I'll keep y'all posted!!

Stacey, we pulled back into town today, the wife is just plain shot out, she hung so hard since Tuesday night when we slept on the Mtn, with just a sleeping bag, and hasn't complained once so I'm very proud of her, but coming down the ridge today she got muscle spasms in her legs, and was really shakey, so she needs some rest, shes been getting in shape, but I don't think she was expecting this...lol We haven't seen elk in 2 days, and its been hot, I went up the hill today in a tshirt at 6 and was fine...not good elk weather, I guess they are staying up eating with the full moon and snoozin during the day....I'm scratchin my head at this point!

Its frustrating, I have access to some really good private, but they won't be there until the weather turns, if it even does before the hunt ends... I'll be spendin alot of time on google earth and prayin for weather since I cant take more leave before Nov 1st
