It looks like there will be a spot of good cold weather moving in to the Payson area around Turkey day. Hope it get the bulls down into 22N.

good for you, I was just north of payson last week and it was 74 in the day and 52 at night in the cedar country, moved up north for a bit and at 7500 ft. it was 72 in the day and 26 at night. Seemed uncomfortably hot!

Hope we get enough snow to push some elk down off the rim for you. Will wait till next week to see how much is forecast.
I have the bull hunt up in unit 9, so will not enjoy the muddy roads.

we know a few bulls are in there already But I don't think the majority of the bulls are off the rim yet. If you have any information on the where and hows of the area and you would like to share I sure wouldn't mind it. Thanks

I've been seeing only smaller bulls in the last three weekends of scouting. Younger bulls are bugling early mornings. You're right, the inclement weather will be good for the hunt. I will be there with my nephew who has the tag on the first hunt. Do you have the first or second hunt?

Nov 28th to Dec 5th
I will be camped at the Rodeo grounds with my Horse & mule.
If you up scouting maybe we can hook-up and we can let you know where we are seeing them for your hunt, My nephews will be pulling in there sometime tomorrow to scout for us. Talk to ya soon.

I will be in 4A. Was up there Saturday all I saw were cows. It was 23 in the morning and 50+ when we left. Hope the snow will get the bulls moveing I have not seen to many.

I too will be up in 4A...I have never been up there on the late hunt before..I have hunted it many times in September, so this should be interesting..

Good luck!

Still gonna be kinda warm by Friday. I've been scouting there, but so far have only seen some cows. Sure would like to find a bull. This is my first ever bull tag.

I could used it for sure it rain and snowed for 2 days off and on it was a great hunt even with the tough weather saw small bulls on the days it wasn,t fogged in, That rim country is a rough place.
