I made a quick 2.7 mile stalk through a densely wooded area, - there were cows everywhere. I was just praying that my new rubber soles wouldn't make too much noise as I cautiously motored my way to him. Oh and I had all three of my kids with me. It was a chore to keep them from fighting, but I was able to snap these pics anyway! Wheh! I am now oficially exhausted. The cow behind the counter graciously let me take these pics, but I had to pretend I was interested in buying some miscellaneous Phillips head screwdrivers and sockets and did have a conversation about the new tires on my car and the new tree planting program in our fair city.

Anyway - I thought it would be fun to hold a contest to see how close everyone can get to scoring this bull. I think there are a lot of posers out there, and some who are dead on! Lets see who's who! The closest guess made by 10 PM CST Sunday, November 30th will win a piece of leftover pumpkin pie! Seriously, I will save one for you, of course you will have to come to my house to get it, but if you win - it's yours. I will reveal the score by posting a pic of the actual B&C Award certificate that reveals the score.

Lets have some fun with this! Post up your best guess - but only guess once!

Also, best trash talk post will receive some left over deviled eggs - those I can send in the mail.

Also try to guess the state, year, and weapon. There will be no prizes for these guesses so do your best anyway.

First off, it looks like a Utah elk. It's pretty light colored and looks retarded. All of Utahs' elk look retarded from all the inbreeding. Or maybe it's the taxidermist who's retarded? It looks like he took it to a laundamat and poured in a cup of bleach. Who knows?

Being a Utah elk the odds are good it's a road kill. Or it just died of natural causes. Look how long Spidey lived in Utah, and not even one of you losers knew he was there! In fact, if he didn't come over and start licking the bumper on that trailer this summer, he probably never would have been found. If you guys from Utah would spend a little time actually hunting instead of ripping off your employers on the computer all day, you might kill something. Or I guess it could have been killed by a REAL hunter from Texas or California. You ever wonder why the vast majority of the big animals taken in Utah are taken by non-residents? BINGO!!!!

I'm so disgusted right now, I'm not going to guess a score, even though I'm pretty sure I know, within a point of two. You wouldn't learn anything anyhow.

Since it is NET by B&C, and since it is an "Award Certificate," based on Roy's precise info I will go 374 NET.

You can keep the punkin pie. I despise the crap. Looks like Puppy Pudding. The only thing worse? Deviled Eggs. Don't eat things that smell like beer farts and come out of a chicken's ass.;-)

438-3/8" Gross, 401-1/8" Net. Obviously a Utah elk judging strictly from the "headlights" look on his face. Kilt in 2005 with a smokepole...by a non-res who was immediately busted just after the kill for an open container violation. He thought just 'cause it was ok in Texas that it'd be ok in one of its state parks.....

And the winner is - believe it or not! BOBCATBESS!!! He guessed 416 6/8 and thought he was low - and he was - by 1 inch! So Bess - let me know when you will be dropping by the house and i will have my wife bake up a fresh pie - of your choice - it doesn't have to be pumpkin - but they are good!

And for the deviled eggs - it was a close race! But Eelgrass pulled it out in the end! Eel - your deviled eggs are in the mail! Well at least they are in the envelope, I may get around to mailing them Tuesday morning or so. I will however send them first class so you should have them by Friday!

The bull was an archery bull taken in New Mexico in 1992 by a Texas hunter. I don't know the hunter nor the story, but the bull is a dandy!
