Thanks Donnie! I've stared at these pictures over and over since September, but seeing them on Eastman's still seems sureal!

Good friends Donnie Drake and Steve Chappell were with me the morning we got him.

It was an awesome hunt, shared with some awesome friends...to find a bull like this was a perfect end to an amazing hunt!

Here's a few more pictures...

Great bull & really nice photos! After reading some other elk posts this year, that bull would be safe in Utah's Dutton Unit in 2009!Only 390"!!!!!!!
David

I agree! They must have got desperate on the last hour of the last day. Where's the trophy ethics? That bull had 6 more years of growth left in him. Wait 6 years, let that bull put on some mass, gain a little weight so that he at least weighs more than a spring calf, and BAM! Some people have no self control. I promise you guys I will never shoot a bull like that on the Dutton!

He who stomps the greatest stinky wins!

Oh man I just spotted milk dripping off that poor bulls chin in one of the photos. Your a mean mean man! rofl! Boy I bet that was the hunt of a lifetime. Congratulations on an awesome bull!

Great bull and nice writeup for the mag, wish I could have made the cover to get the swaro glass! Its an awesome feeling when it all comes togethor like that , huge bull harvested with good buddies there to share the experience. Now we just need to get some more this year so Steve can get EB6 out. nwhunter

Corey,
Attaboy!! Gorgeous bull and a great story! And I didn't see any milk drops anywhere in the pics; Stinky's just scared cause he noticed that stick and string in the photos. He doesn't think you can do what you did with those things. Keep it up bro!!

What a great bull, it's kind of a bull of a lifetime, you're going to hunt a long time to get one better or draw another tag for that unit, But that will be the fun part,Can't wait to see how he looks hanging on the wall.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

I read your story last night. What an awesome bull! I can only hope that one day I can have an opportunity to stalk such a beautiful creature. You are lucky to have such good friends and hunting partners. Great job.

Corey, congrads on a fantastic Bull. I had just got home from talking with a friend about my hunt coming this september when my issue of Eastman's was in my mailbox. I'll be looking at that cover and driving myself crazy until my chance comes. I'll grab the dvd when it hits the stores and really go crazy.

Thats an awesome bull and great story. Check out page 50 to see a bull I helped with in 2008. A great bull, alot smaller than coreys bull, but just as rewarding.....

What a giant bull those big long thirds are huge when will the new Dvd be out?
Congrats Corey you deserve every inch on that bad boy.
Good Job
