offering tags to fellow hunters

Don't call this an ebay site! This is hunters helpinjg hunters get their opportunities in places they just weren't lucky enough to draw! If you dont care to read it pass by that particular forum! I can't afford the governers tag but I don't criticize the hunter that can! The revenue all goes toward a good cause, or would you rather see tree huggers applying for your favorite hunts and trust me we are out numbered! I think having opportunities at land owner tags is great!Its to bad Brian feels that any helpful information purchasing these tags should be pulled from the forums and placed in the classifieds where a fee is present.I guess if your a broker the classified section is great, but I bet if I offered free tags to "founder" he wouldn't direct me to the classifieds?

If you can't or don't want to follow the rules of this site, then go somewhere else. Those are the rules. Please do not post ads in the forums!!! If you don't want to pay to post your ads where everyone else does, then don't.
Yourself and jamaro are not "doing me a favor" by spamming my site. There are lots of other sites where you can post your spam. Do it there....do them the favor.

To EVERYONE: Usually I just delete these types of posts and move on, but I replied only to remind everyone that in order to keep the forums as they should be, posting of ads is not allowed. The forums would be over run with spam if I allowed it. I just don't want it. There's a place for ads on this site. Please let me know when you see these ads posted in the forums, send an alert and lets get it off.

Before anyone buys a tag from a broker, do a little research on the NM web site and look up the land owner list yourself and make a few calls. A lot of times you get buy them for half of what a "tag broker" sells them for. If they are out, have them put you on the list for next year. A lot of these guys I talked to do not like to sell them to outfitters and tag brokers for reasons of merit, and some do just to dump them fast.
Also look at craigslist. There is a 16E archery tag on right now for 2500$

The fact is tree huggers out number hunters and so do their bank accounts....

I'm kinda glad founder pulled that post. Any tags being offered on this site are usually over priced. I know for a fact that unit 13 tags can be found for cheaper than $3500. Heck, after I bought my tag last year I called a landowner who woulda sold me the same tag for $500. Point is, do your own homework and call the landowners directly. Its sad to see these landowners/brokers/guides still trying to get the price of a gila tag that they were paid when the economy was booming, and now that the clients dried up they are bent on getting the same over priced amount for the tags. Fact is... the economy is down. Advertise your tags for cheaper in the albuquerque journal, and leave these forums to the other pot stirrers like myself. I don't need any more help trying to piss off founder. I'm a one man show and don't like to share the spotlight! lol
