What state do you guys think the biggest bull will come out of? I have a tag in Arizona for unit 9 and am hunting in Utah as well, just wondering what you guys think?

Ya I have a archery tag for the Arizona hunt, have seen alot of good bulls down there and just bought a general archery tag for utah hope to draw in a LE sometime soon

I only had 5 points so I got pretty lucky, lived down there for 11 years and my brother didnt draw out until we moved. But I've heard of others waiting a long time and I know it will be worth the wait. Good luck hope you get a tag in the coming year

Azizona,Utah,Nevada. I live in NM and the management is a little better. They cut back on tags in the gila a few years ago. I think we will se a few 400 class bulls out of units 13,15,16,17.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-31-09 AT 11:54AM (MST)[p]I live in AZ and I drew a Thanksgiving Bull tag for 6A. I've been out scouting a few times and the antler growth here is the best I've seen in a very long time. See we've had 2 fairly wet winters and this year we had some decent spring rains. The range grasses are belly high up in the elk country. The forest this year is absolutly beautiful, it's very green. We deserve it after about 10 or 12 years worth of drout. I think that AZ has an extremely good chance of producing the big bull of the year.

I think Arizona will take the largest bull this year but that is just a guess.

If your out scouting unit 9 and come across a silver Toyota Tacoma with a camper shell and Elk antlers in the window, stop me and say hi. I'll be scouting a bunch starting next week. I thought that I was lucky drawing with 7 points. Lets hope our luck holds out.
