I just saw the gentleman who got this bull and looked at these photos 30 min ago. He is a really nice bull!! He had no damage to the velvet until he went down, but they're going to try to repair it.This bull has tons of mass up high.Excellent job on a great bull!

the LUCKY hunters name is Ralph Betancourts, those Depredation hunts are looking better each season as another Option ---

congrats to the hunter. that is definatly a stud of a bull. i don't know why it is but i sure dont like seeing elk in the velvet as much as i do muleys. i would love to see that bull hard horned. great bull nontheless.

Interesting they don't give those bulls a chance to breed before taking them out of the gene pool. Does Nevada have surplus elk in some area's whereby they need to reduce the herd in this fashion?

They do not want the elk in the area that it was taken. But i will tell you this that alot of people are over looking that depredation hunt over there.

Yeah great bull! That bull has been spreading his genes since he was able to breed, why do people say that? he was born with what he got, it doesnt change cause he is older
