Kent and his buddy Eric asked me to post some pictures of Kent's Dutton Archery Bull.

All I know is this: He scouted hard, shot him early, and is surprised that anyone wants to see the photos. He does not have a score and I am sure Kent could care less what he measures out at. He is THRILLED.

Nice nice Bull Kent!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-03-09 AT 12:50PM (MST)[p]That is just a great bull. His buddy has an early rifle tag for the Dutton also. I am sure they will kill another great bull. They really know the area well and spend a LOT of time scouting.

Great lookin bull! Is it tough to preserve the velvet on an elk like that, when hes almost hard horned? I want a velvet bull on the wall really bad. I would like to hear the story. Empty quiver- he must have kept letting em fly till he ran out of arrows?

Great bull Kent!!!
I've done the numbers the best I can and I think that he is a 390' class bull. Has great mass and that xtra brow tine is unique. Is he going to score as a typical? I'm not sure how P&Y classify that!
Stinky, you ground checked him is he a shooter for you?

*Remember it's all about elk baby!!!*

Outstanding bull! Yet one more bow hunter digging in under less than perfect conditions and putting a monster down! Congrats!

allaboutelk..... We ground checked him and then slamdunk shot him with a red paintball, meaning no shooter lol. If we can't hit em with a tranquilizer dart and physically measure them and they are close to 400 we shoot them with a yellow paintball meaning maybe. There are only a handfull of bulls slammy shot with a green one and only two of those did we manage to slap satelite gps collars on! I swear if I see someone post a picture of an elk and they didn't wash the green paint off his side someones gonna be invitin a can of stinkywhoopA$$ to be opened up on em.

I think i see the residue of a little yellow paint on this bulls flank.
Yellow means (proceed with caution) or "Go ahead, this one aint bad at all". Lol
