NM Unit 21

Happy Holidays!! I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with this unit? I have never hunted it but I was able to grab one of the leftover tags. I just want to get a chance to shot at a legal buck. We have three tags for the unit. Thanks for the help.

There are good areas around Kingston and Hillsboro. Also north west of TorC, Winston and Chloride I believe.The Aldo Leopold Wilderness is another area to look at.

I like the area right there around Winston coming in from Cuchillo . Theres pretty good access in the steeper areas and some great high points for glassing , and that area has descent muley numbers , its pretty open country , so spot and stalk could be ideal there.....NMHUNTNUTT

friend of my hunt between Nutt and Hillsboro..i can't remember how to get there but there is some dirt road off from HWY 27.. i ll have to check with friend and see if i can get a copy of map and have liza give to you!
