Finally! It has taken me a few years of waiting for my chance to go after a big bull in Utah. This was my chance and I will be the first to tell you this year was a long hunt many days in the mountains dealing with all sorts of weather some good and some bad. I will start by telling you I could of shot a spike bull every day. The bigger bulls were not where i thought they would be with the wet spring they were still in the transition between the lower elevation and the higher range. I did miss a few chances at a couple of good bulls, I like spot and stalk but for some reason my stalk didn't work very well. In the end I ended up with a good bull. Two days left in the hunt when this bull came in to the wallows and made the mistake of getting within 40 yards of me. It was all over he went about thirty yards and fell over, The hit went true right to the heart. I was so excited that you could of probably heard me two canyons over. He is not the biggest bull on the mountain, but for me he is my trophy ruff measurements he is a 300 class bull.
