Montana bonus points

Can you apply just for a bonus point in Montana without appyling for a tag? I have read over the regs and it does not appear that you can.

Nope, you'll have to pick a unit. Generally people only wanting points will put in for the toughest draw.

Montana wants the use of your money. A "smarter" state in revenue generation, at least in this department!!! Much smaller state income tax than MN for sure!!

You have to apply. I assume you're talking sheep/moose/goat. If so you can apply for a unit that isn't listed on the application for non-residents and know you won't draw yet still gain a point.
