Pahvant LE Archery Elk

I have been down hunting on the Pahvant and have had no luck finding any nice bulls, mostly rag horns and some small satellite bulls. Nothing that I would want to put my tag on.

I am hunting the southern end of the region near Elsinore and Joseph and was hoping to get some suggestions from anybody who knows the area well. I'm just looking for some areas I could try that might be holding bigger bulls. Any help would be appreciated.

my suggestion is go to the north end. its a little more steep terrain but it holds bigger bulls. I had a rifle tag in 07 and I spent all my time on the north end and I was seeing big mature bulls every day. It will be a little bit harder to hunt but once you see those bulls it will be worth it.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is there as much private land on the north end? Could you reccomend a specific area or road down there on the north end that I could do some research on a map?
