Between all the hiking and missed oppurtunities I finally got a chance at this bull late in the evening, which once again left me and my buddies packing a bull out in the dark, but it all worked out in the end. Couldn't be any happier!

He's a beauty for sure and you should be proud. Congrats on a successful hunt.

What area/unit were you in? How many days did you hunt?
We always like to know. (not to have your spot but it make the story more interesting when we have some details)

It's nice to have friends! There are friends then there are real good friends who will pack elk parts out all night! Yup!
Kudos to them as well.

Details man, give us details!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-22-10 AT 02:54PM (MST)[p]Shot near fishlake. We hunted for four days and hiked a ton. We came across this bull about 800 yards and put a sneak on him to close within 70 yards, very intimidating animals that close! P.S I apologize about the tongue. We were so excited we weren't thinking to clearly to get a better picture!

Beautiful bull...another with gorgeous antler character/curves and a sweet whale tail!! Great job!!! Nice hat too..hook 'em! Is the tongue photoshopped??? LOL!!
Congrats...the smile says it all!

I was too transfixed on the beautiful antlers to look at the tongue! LOL OIC, that tongue looks almost fake.
Again, congrats on a great Fish Lake Area bull! Thanks for sharing the excitement. We're happy for you.

Congratulations!!! I'll bet the camera person didn't have to tell you to smile.

Before you die.....Take time to live

Wow that bull has a big back end. And I'm not talking about his rump. Sweet Bull!

GREAT BULL,

Always good to hear of your excitment. Mean you had a great time. Tongue, no problem. Today photoshop can fix that. We're all hunters here. We understand.

Good job. Enjoy the aftermath of the "bull down"
