Elk huntng in the Book ciffs

I drew the archery elk tag for Little Creek area in the Bookcliffs and just got back from pack trip this morning. I have pretty good intel on Fish creek from other buddies that have hunted in this area. We went though SHe and FIsh drainages. None have hunted Little creek, east willow or west willow. so just wondering if anyone has been in the areas and had good success.....
So if anyone out there has been back in Little creek drainage would love to chat about area. Also trying to find out if "Three Springs" is in E. Willow or Little. Thanks...

Thanks got ya, ever been there? Did you go in from Totem from Sego? GOod area? If you did go though Totem how far from UTe entrance?

I have never spent much time on the Roadless area. All I know is its easier to access it from I70.
Maybe shood JACO a pm, he might be able to help you out

Throw a dart at a map of the roadless area and unless your deaf and blind you ought to be able to find elk somewhere near where your dart hits. Awesome country, lots of elk. Enjoy the hunt.

@wpg3ut I drew the muzzle loader tag back in 2009. We hunted only in right hand fish creek and left hand fish creek. I ended up shooting my bull down right hand. http://www.myrockymountainhunting.com/2009/09/blog-post.html. We had seen one other bull of this caliber and about 10 or so bulls between 300-330.

A buddy of our shot one down right hand as well that same year during the archery hunt. http://www.myrockymountainhunting.com/2009/09/bookcliffs-roadless-archery-bull.html. This was all the way down in the bottom of right hand.

@wpg3ut Haha small world. Yeah Tyler knows exactly where we shot my bull and his. I heard you guys saw some buffalo down there. Good luck and I can't wait to see how it goes for you. Awesome place.
