Rangefinders

I have the Busnell ARC 1500 and it's ok. It will read at long distance. My dad and friends have smaller ones, and I can almost always get a reading, even when they are unable too. The thing I dont like is the size. Too big to carry and access easily, so I find myself not using it like I should.

I have liked my Bushnell range finders. I'm actually going to purchase another range finder soon, but it will be a Nikon Riflehunter 1000. I think the Yardage Pro is a bit less $$.

I also like the Nikon Riflehunter 1000 heading to Cabela's today for lunch and do some shopping.....still leaning towards Bushnell
Yardage pro scout 1000.
Thanks

I went through this two seasons ago, went with the Lupy 1000 TBR.

After using it in the field I really like the LED display and you can set it on bright or dim. most units don't do this unless you get real high dollar.

Redfield Raider 550 169.95. Love it.
Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

If I ever get lucky enough to draw an archery elk tag I will have one of the new Leupold Vendetta put on my bow. My friend just got 1 and its great shows distance while holding the bow back for the shot.

I had a 400 dollar budget also. I looked at everything in the price range, and settled on the Nikon 1200 Gold. So far so good, although I haven't played with it much. I know the Leicas are considered the best by some, but they ain't 400 bucks either. mtmuley

Well made a trip to Cablea's Friday picked up the Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout 1000 ARC.......so far so good.
