As promised, here are some pictures that my buddy Olin Clawson has taken over the years. As I stated earlier, I dont know anybody in the state that has found and photographed bigger deer. He also has the sheds off of some of these deer and they are incredible.

Thanks boys, about half of these deer are in the unit that my friend drew when his father passed. The unit has a very low success rate-7% mostly because of the difficult terrain, your almost always socked in by timber and with very few high vantage points to glass from. To say we cut our teeth learning to still hunt is an understatement. The big brown shed I 'm holding is a buck that I shot over (story is under the General section: congradulations MM member-Huntsonora) and I have never seen that buck again. I've spent countless hours looking but who knows. Thanks for the compliments I'm sure Drum will post more pics soon.

Wow, those are some awesome pictures. That typical on the right side is about as good as it gets. Thanks for the pics.

Now that sounds like my kind of unit. Stillhunting timber with Absolute Awesome bucks like that. Wow! I love the pic of those 2 typicals together.

Some of the early pics like the 4 bucks togather are from as far back as 2000. some are last year rut. So these pics span some time. This is a buck from this year just days before he would have rubbed. I wouldnt hesitate to say that I could have been this bucks firt human experience. I was in the middle of a elk hunt that did not allow me to pursue him. I went back 6 days later glassed and hung cameras on the nearest water but... no luck, my guess is he rubbed within a couple of days of me seeing him and he relocated.
