After looking at draw odds, I think I can draw unit 30 2nd season. Was wondering if any of you have hunted it during the second rifle season and what I would expect if I hunted there. PM me if you prefer.
I would not waste my time. Lots of elk hunters and a quite a few deer hunters all trying to hunt a small area where all the game is. U should be able to shoot a buck just will be a meat buck. The area where the best deer hunting is is very nasty and stright up and down. The 3rd season sometimes pops out a good buck. Just my 2 cents worth.
