Montana Limited areas

Doing my research once again this year on the various Montana limited draw areas. 270 is obviously the fan-favorite, with some true HAWGS coming out of there recently. I was wondering if anyone had drawn a non-270 limited deer tag in recent years and what kind of success you had. Areas I had in mind were 300, 324, 441, 455, and 652. Particularly I've been thinking about 324. Anyone hunt this units in the past, or happen to be elk-hunting in them and see some deer?

I used to hunt elk in 324 every year up until about 2000. Saw very few muleys. I do hear that they are some good bucks there though and more deer than when I used to hunt there. Used to hunt 441 during the first half of the season and there were alot of muleys to look at, but very few monsters. You could probally do really well with the permit for the later part of the season though. All in all I think any could produce a really nice buck, just a matter of getting the permit and hunting hard. Suprised you didnt mention 261 though.
