Ok, so my old man (turning 70 on the 23rd) drew a Cow Elk tag for Beaver Ut. This is his FIRST elk tag. His hunt starts Aug 1st this a rifle hunt. He literally just called me last night and said he had drawn this tag. He said the unit is kind of weird from basically Beaver Ut to US70 and 3 miles each side of the I-15.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction on where to go or start. With the hunt only a few weeks away I will not have time or the money to go and check things out. I have been on Beaver Mtn 3 times but never that low. We are thinking about staying at the KOA in Beaver.
