2012 Archery Bull Elk!

Caught this bull bedded in a meadow after a rain storm. With the help of a good friend, tons of scouting, and lots of work. I was able to make a 2 1/2 hour stalk on him finally giving me a shot at my very first big bull! Thanks to everybody that helped me out!

Very nice bull - Congrats. He's got good point length, long beams, great mass and symetry, looks like a 360+ bull to me. That bull would score well just taping him around his gut, ha ha. Be careful about giving out too much information though. Some of these guys will find something to rip you on.

I got him on a southern utah limited entry unit. haven't gotten him officially scored yet but we measured him at 360. We seen a lot of good bulls and I passed on a few smaller bulls. We spotted this one from a few miles away and decided to try and get on him. He is the second biggest bull on this unit that I saw all summer and during the hunt. The typical bull on this unit scores around 320-340 so thats what I was expecting to get. I was fortunate to get such a good bull off this unit.
