July 4th scouting

Took my kids and wife today for some scouting. Found these. Ones I've seen before in the same area. Several others out there not in the pics. The first one is one I mentioned some time ago seeing and thinking of the Tooele Buck that was poached. It's difficult to see since he was so far for the picture. He disappeared from the other group in these pics without me seeing him.

No I don't. I was originally scouting for elk, but my wife, oldest son and I will be putting in for it next year.

hunt.....looks like a good day scouting. Where are you at these days?? Are you gonna make it back to Glendive this year? I got my Combo tag again but will be hunting around the Winnett area this year instead.

I'm in Salt Lake City as the SgtMaj for the Marine Recruiting Station. My station covers all of Montana, Utah, most of Idaho and some of Wy,NV,OR. I will be headed back to Glendive for Thanksgiving and will be hunting there at that time. Good luck on your hunt.

tinybig do a search of the archives for Tooele Buck and you will find him on here. The width on this one is a little difficult to see, but I mentioned him on here a few weeks ago and he was already 4-6 inches past the ears viewing him at 200 yards.
