I think that all areas have the potential to have non-typicals as long as the bucks have time to mature. It is true that some areas have certain genetics that other areas may not have though. Some deer might be a nontypical as a two point and that sure didn't come from being mature. I would look into sources such as the Boone and Crocket record book to see what kind of deer have historically been taken in certain areas. fatrooster.
