Here is a buck my brother took in Texas this January. Enjoy!

Great buck! The deer obviously looks like a mule deer ears/body, but antlers look somewhat whitetail. Wonder if it could be a hybrid? Killed in an area with both species? Great buck either way.

Nice buck. We see lots of Texas muleys with horns that are built like his. No doubt he's a straight mule deer. I didn't know that the Texas mule deer season went into January; thought it closed in December. Congrats on a nice buck.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-25-08 AT 03:04PM (MST)[p]
It was taken January 4th, 2008, ( not 2007, sorry) during a special draw hunt.

Great buck.
Have bucks in our areas here that have the front forks and not the backs. But most have the back forks more dominant.

This was taken on a draw hunt during January 3-6, 2008 in the Sierra Diablo WMA. It is north of Allamoore, Texas. He is 25 1/2" wide, with 5 1/8" bases and has 12" tines. There were a total of 6 tags issued. Only 4 hunters showed up.

Nice buck, Congrats.

How come everytime someone kills a three point, people thing he has a whitetail rack?

Is that ethical?

We've been putting in for years and years for this hunt and can't seem to pull a tag, then 2 people don't even bother to show up! Ouch
