beautiful buck. where in D8 did you find him? I own a cattle ranch in D8, off hopewell drive off 99. check out the shed sections where i found some nice matching 140 class antlers.

i am guessing he is 135 to the high 140's gross? how wide is he? about 22 or 23?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-21-08 AT 07:32AM (MST)[p] IT IS A GOOD D8 BUCK.......BUT THERE ARE SOME ABSOLUTE THUMPER BUCKS IN THAT UNIT. I'AM SURE SOME OF YOU LOCALS SAW THAT NON TYPICAL THAT (2006) HAD TOO MANY POINTS TO COUNT 38X41 OF A MASSIVE BLOB THAT WAS SHOT BY A LOCAL. I SAW IT IN THE TAXI SHOP, & NO, I HAVE NO PICS OF THE BRUTE. PRIVATE PROPERTY IN D8 IS NOT ALWAYS THE ANSWER, ITS A SHORT HOT DRY SEASON THAT IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. I ALWAYS HAVE A D8 TAG......JUST IN CASE......YD.

Just kidding. Nice buck for D8. I get that as a second choice and hunt it on avaiable weekends too, most often in the Blackrock area.
