first scouting trip

went scouting for the first time and got rather lucky. Hopefully my luck continues into october and i can take one of these guys for my first deer. I saw about 9 bucks only got pictures of these three there was one other one that was really wide that i spooked coming over the hill that i didnt get a picture of. Now will these deer be in the same area come late october for my deer hunt or do they constantly travel?

nice job thanx for sharing.i believe deer stay within a 1-2 sq. mile area until they migrate for the winter.if the feed is available they will be there they will probably be held up in the trees more waiting for the rut to come on in late oct.good luck with your hunt keep your eye on them learn their habits and everything should work out for you.(SE utah?)

You let me know where you saw them and I will let you know after the Bowhunt if they are still there! ;-)

Just Kidding....They should be there not too far. They usually don't migrate until a little later depending on weather etc.

went out again today a little closer to home but still in the northern region saw a couple more bucks these guys i could never get close for a good picture.but i guess a bad picture is better than no picture.
