I went down to help mom with her rifle on the pausaugut. We saw 25 bucks on Saturday, but the biggest one was a 26" 3x4 that barely had a third point on the three side. We saw 6 different bucks (all 3x4's) in the 22-26" range. Mom was sick on Sunday, but Monday night managed to get out of bed and out hunting again. She saw five more bucks, including one four point, but no shooters. She was going to go out this morning (Tuesday) but our golden retriever had 10 puppies so she stayed home to take care of them rather than going out to hunt. So my dad and a friend of his when on the general side and my dad shot a 17" 2x3. Mom still has a few days and should be able to find at least one 24" plus four point before the end. We saw a lot of deer, but the one she wants is still out there.
