LAST EDITED ON Oct-04-10 AT 11:30PM (MST)[p]pulled the trigger on my first muzzy buck on the Front this past weekend. This buck messed with us the day before and I received the help of a couple hunters bumping him from the same bed the next morning.

I was patient and he came to me about 20 minutes later. 130 yd shot with open sites. double lunged him good and he ran about 100 yards and piled up. Quartered him up and packed him out with the help of some good friends. This buck had a gorgeous cape on him, so I caped him and figure I'll use the cape on a bigger buck some day!

No monster, just a decent Front buck. about 23" wide and 17" tall. 3 x 4 with an eyeguard on one side. Kind of has some unique character here and there.

That a nice ML buck, Yep any time you get a good cape it pays to cape and keep for down the road.

Sweet Buck! You must have had some good friends to pack that sucker out. Congrats Paulie! Glad I could be there.

Not a bad deer at all, but you are right the cape is amazing. especially looking at the last few pics.

I hope your not going to waste your time and money mounting that buck!!!

You should read the story and not just look at the pictures...
