2011 in Kansas

Not a bad year of hunting. I was lucky enough to take a respectable 6 by 7 in the early season, and my dad took a very nice 5 by 5 in the late season.

My dad's buck was a great spot and stalk in pretty country, and beautiful weather. Great memories!

The last buck is one our friend Mark took. It was his first ever deer, and was very tickled with him. Congrats to Mark!

big6, come out whenever you want. We still have a few big whitetails running around. I live in western Kansas, so there aren't as many as the central part of the state, but we have a few.
