Turning it in??

I was the only "lucky" one in my family to draw a general muzzy tag on the South Slope. However, I have a good friend whos 72 yr old dad drew a Book Cliffs Muzzy elk tag. My question is this:: Can I turn my tag in and get a Bonus point?? There is no reason to keep the tag since I have decided to help in the Books. Will I get a refund for the tag or do they keep the $35 bucks??

You will loose the $35 and will not gain a pref point. If you had points prior to the draw you will keep those.

Ok. Now I am confused. I assumed I would lose the $35 bucks. That is not a big deal. My biggest concern is the point. Will I or Won't I get a point?? We went 1 for 6 in our family in drawing general muzzy tags. I don't want to be left out next year. I need that point. haha..

Check out page 21 of the guide book. IF you surrender your permit, you will get your preference point(s)back AND receive a preference point for the current year!!!!!
