Vernon Muzzleloader Help

I've been scouting the Vernon unit in preparation for the muzzleloader hunt and I haven't found any decent bucks. I thought I'd reach out to my Monster Muley family for some help. Do any of you have experience with, or advise on the unit, that you wouldn't mind passing on. Thanks for your help.

What is a decent buck?
What are you hoping to get?

I'm looking for a good solid mature buck. As far as stats go I'm looking for a 170"+ deer with an outside spread of 27"+. To me that is the baseline for a solid mature deer. I'm hoping to dig something up in this category.
