anyone want to share their thoughts on deer/elk around Lemon reservoir area? I have access to private property for a weekend ONLY, no earlier access allowed to scout. Trying to decide if I use my time in there or not.

No experience there. Curious if you gained the access through purchase of a voucher? If so, you should get the whole season.

In real estate, it is location, location, location.

That is pretty true in Colorado too, but you can add: elevation, elevation, elevation AND weather, weather, weather.

Yes, it could be good, or a bust

Also, size does matter (acres)

Without more info, not sure that helps much.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-10-13 AT 09:23PM (MST)[p]Thx guys... Being an AZ res & hearing about other states draw odds, its definately a spur-of-the-moment opportunity. Private property is just NW of the Lemon Res dam in 75, a couple thousand acres. Its the oct 19th hunt. Guess we'll just giver' hell!!!

The weather should help some with it being cold and rain/snow, It has moved deer before.

The first season will move some down on private and if you get some weather so much the better. Sounds like a pretty good plan.
