Governor and sportsman tag UTAH

I could be wrong but my understanding the sportsman's deer tag holder ate tag soup. Had a buddy who lives in cache valley said he was up there Dec. 31st chasing a town buck around.

No I don't have any info on it. Im guessing it was taken somewhere on the pauns because a kid I know that lives down that way was on the hunt. But that's just my guess.

No, actually it was a person hunting an area they knew was not part of the tag, and then some other person posting pics of said location that caused the trouble with the sheep.

But we've been down this road before and don't need to re-hash it.

Actually your wrong again there Trippy. The guidebook doesnt carry this info. It is the responsibility of the hunter. That was addressed by the DWR and you dot live here and have no clue about some of this stuff. So maybe shut your pie hole. Do us all a favor. It has been a few good months on here until now. Vanilla, it is saying the guide book doesn't have everything in it but the web does. It doesn't say you have to fact check everything in the guide book to see if it was wrong. And EVERY lawyer worth his salt knows that. THAT'S WHY THE STATE DIDN'T PROSECUTE. The state realized they had screwed up big time.

The truth is just more than you boys can take and you keep hoping no one else here will notice.


You two boys literally are doing everything you can to hurt a decent person YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. He literally hasn't done one thing to you. He hasn't tried to take anything from you. He hasn't tried to screw you over. You literally have not lost a single thing to this person. He is literally trying to run a business by the book and you want to hurt him. The DWR screwed up on this one big time. In more ways than are apparent from any discussions that have been in the public. I have never once stated the DWR didn't screw this one up, and that is where I wish the accountability on this fell. I've said that as naseum on this very forum, and you've seen those posts. You choose to live in an alternate reality, and that's okay. You just make crap up constantly, always have, and I suspect you always will. Keep doing you, Tristate. We wouldn't expect anything different.

But right is right, and wrong is wrong. The relevant parties involved in that issue knew they were wrong, but acted anyway under the cover of someone else?s screw up. Not all things that are wrong (or even against the law) result in criminal convictions. Even OJ was found not guilty...

Ummmmmmm, as the one guy here who ACTUALLY TALKED TO THE BIOLOGIST in Price, ill point out the obvious.

If, as Tri claims, WLH checked the guide book and then went hunting, WHY DID HE CALL THE PRICE OFFICE? Afterall the guide book that WLH checked said he was good to go, seems strange you would tgen call the office, in the wrong region, and talk to a biologist WHO WASNT involved in big game.

I agree with Tri though. I believe 100% WLH checked it. They saw that misprint/no print and knew 100% they could claim a technicality. I don't think WLH was stupid at all.

Neither did the 2 other offices I talked to trying to find out who "have him permission".

So folks seem to have reputations in various field offices.

Its interesting to read these posts. Tri is accused of highjacking the post. But the reality of it was the post was about the Gov and Sportsmans Deer tag. A legitimate question was asked and a jackasss response was given, at this point Tri enters. So who highjacked the post? Not Tri, someone else highjacked it and took it there and then you all complained when he jumped in.

My personal feeling on the sheep issue are not in agreement with Tri or WLH. But as usual on this forum we don't lay blame where it really falls we just lay it where we want to see it fall. So if you to disagree with Tris views on the sheep great, but don't accuse him of highjacking the post. He's only jumping in after the train left the tracks.

For the record, I am not complaining about Tri hijacking a thread -- although he is a certified master in the art of the hijack. Hawkeye beat me to it. I was laughing while reading Tristate?s last post, because it was HIM that posted up all the information about the illegally killed sheep for us to see. But for Tristate on this forum, we may have never known about that whole WLH and the sheep situation. It may have never come to light at all. He was trying to rub it in people?s faces, and it completely blew up on him.

So it's pretty rich to see him accuse others of trying to drag WLH or the hunter in that situation through the mud. It was him that did so. He can attack everyone else now in his attempt to make amends or try and make himself feel better, but it doesn't change the cold hard facts on this one.

Cool 3 point killed. I bet he's a Pauns buck too. That place is pretty awesome.

There was a thread on here regarding the sheep before the "Blaaaaam" thread. The blaaaaam thread was a joke following it. I didn't ring the bell all I did was provide a picture after the fact. That is the truth. But you choose to remember it however you want.

You can't deny that this thread had absolutely nothing at all to do with that but Robiland hi-jacked it and turned it into that so he could crap on people again that he doesn't know.

If you read post 7, 8 and 9, all was good and dandy. Someone asked a question, someone made a comment about the island, the someone (me) made a joke about the island and all hell broke loose after that from tristate.

People ask questions and make comments on everyone's post here. But somebody got his feelings hurt and went all BUTT-HURT. SO 73, who hijacked it?

It was very difficult to find a buck this year that has the wow factor that this buck definitely has. Horn grown was way down this year. A lot of bucks lots inches.

Actually, the Guide Book is what got the Poachers off! plus a few other phone calls- a Lifetime Premiere Guide and Outfitter in Utah Knows exactly where and when they are at - AT ALL TIMES.
