My wife shot a 300 WSM!

Until my wife meant me she had never fired a rifle before. Since she has fired many and even own a .22, 12 gauge, and a .280 Remington. I have even got her to shoot archery and she took a state 3-D triple crown title this year. One thing I have never got her to do is shoot my 30-06, that is until this weekend. I was a little scared it would scare her and make her flinch in the future if it kicked to hard. She shot it with ease and even shot my super light Browning a-Bolt II 300 WSM. She is a small girl so the recoil looked bad, but she took it well and even said that that is what she wants for graduation (except in a Remington 700 SS ADL). I was extremely proud of her and am glad I have a girl I can share the outdoor experiences with.

Well, the good part is she has probably "graduated" by now so it's ok to say it.

? I am in the process of doing the same, I get a bad headache the next day after l shoot it a few times.

Yep, when wife draw San Juan Elk she had to shoot something bigger then her 243. I had her shoot my 270 and then reluctantly my 300 WSM. She stated the 300 WSM was no worst then the 270

. I believe the 300 has more of a push and the 270 a sharper crack. She did well, practiced and was very comfortable out to 300 yards and put her bull down at 300 yards with one shot!!!
