I had a Tasco World Class Plus scope. This scope was very sorry. So I figured I would upgrade to maybe a Leupold,Swarovski, or Nikon. Give me any suggestions about these brand.

Thank You

Do you have a certain price range in mind?
Hunting conditions, ranges you normally shoot game?
What game animals?

Have had great experience with Leopold and Swarovski. Zeiss is great too. I have looked through several swarovskis in the field that look clear and bright all the way to the edges of view. Spent my $ on Swarovski Binocs (very durable) so couldnt afford scope.
I am thrilled with my fixed 6x42 leopold. I am a FIXED fan for sure. Seen too many guys pull up on 40 yd deer in timber and accidentally left scope on 9 or 12 and had a hard time locating.
Variables are great if you hunt big variety of different terrains with long range visibilities. My fixed six allows me to see clearly as far as my 300 can shoot.
Besides durability and clearness, consider light gathering too. Good luck. Remember you ussualy pay for what you get.

I bought a Leupold VXII scope for my nephew for Christmas this year. I have the older VariXIII on my rifle. If I had it to do over I'd get myself a VXII. Great scope for just under 300 bucks I believe.

i have the leupild 3.5-10x50, and my dad has the 4.5-14x40 with the boone and crokett on his 7mmum. i like his scope a lot, it is higher power than mine and has a better reticle.
