Any luck opening weekend?

Anybody have luck in eastern oregon? I got a decent little 3-point right after daylight before the hunters showed up on every ridge. Anybody else?

Me, had a tough weekend for sure. I drew a Minam unit tag, scouted a couple of times and had everything planned out only to get snowed out Friday. We backpacked in about 7 miles to 7500' feet and Friday afternoon it snowed like crazy and the weather just moved in you could only see about 50 feet. I called my girlfriend on the sat phone and I guess except for Saturday the forecast showed rain or probably snow everyday except Saturday. So we made the hard call and came back out - I hate getting beat by weather after planning this for a year but not sure what other area you can hunt in that unit that isn't in the wilderness or is private. Trying to decide if its worth trying it this weekend. Hope others are having better luck.
