unit 80 in Colorado

We are going elk hunting the second season in unit 80 this fall.This is our first time out to Colorado. From what I have been told we will be hunting in the area of Wolf Creek Pass & South Fork. Any information on the area and what kind of weather we can expect would be helpful. We are hunting public land. Thanks, Dave

are you going it alone? Unit 80 is my home. There are some pretty good elk in there but they get a lot of pressure. The ATVs are out of control. It is not easy country. If you are willing to get out and hoof it a fair amount you can do pretty well. you can email me or PM me and I will let you know what I know.
