F&G website says week of the 18th so we probably all have a week left to wait! Find the horn Goose!

I have max points in elk and Ive never drawn one before the point system,24 years of attempts without drawing a LE tag.I have taken to applying for tags with better odds the last couple years and still no luck.I do OK with antelope,doe deer and swans ;).

NONYA i just thought i would rub it in a little bit, i've drawn sheep (190 B&C) goat (47 B&C i believe can't remember) last late season gardiner bull tag ever issued (344 b&C)! i think this year i will draw a breaks elk tag and then also my muley application! i would say i'm a dreamer but a couple have come true! hehehehehehe Find the horn Goose!
 
I drew a goat in 2001. A goat, not an antelope.

I currently have three mule deer doe points.

I said 3 mule deer doe points. Somebody at FnG doesn't like me.
 
I know a guy that has a PILE of swan points,he hates us for drawing every other year.

Its Fn retarded,they should let non res include their LE intent to apply if successful with their apps and draw them all at the same time,love waiting ALLLLLllllll summer to find out if and where Ill be hunting to make fall plans,some of us have to request time off well in advance.

They are beginning to trickle in......I now have another point for mule deer!!!!!!!!!!! Check your points, not drawing status.

Any res have elk points changing yet or just deer? I have no deer draws, just elk - Non Res. I think we fall inline after residents.
 
Im just going to start drinking tonight so when they draw elk and antelope Ill be numb.

Unless maybe the draw isn't totally complete I'd say you did. Myself and a buddy both show zero, but we did have points. mtmuley
 
Well got a brain teaser for you guys then. my points say Zero and i can't remember if i bought a point or not. i'm positive i did but really can't remember. ah sh#t..... now what? gotta wait another night.... da#n F&G. Find the horn Goose!
 
Zero elk points for me!! Woohoo!! My sister-in-law & father-in-law points did go up.
 
WOW. Drew the Elkhorns tag. Been a member on here for a while but never posted anything. I guess this is as good a first post as a guy could hope for. I live in Belgrade and helped a buddy hunt it 3 years ago but any help/info would be appreciated, its a lot of country.
 
Talked to F&G earlier - said that elk b tags follow next - elk took about 6 hours, starting on b tags tomorrow morning - should be up about the same time.

Got an extra point for elk now too. Randy, you can keep your mountain bucks ;). ...Unless nothing makes my finger itch, im comin back west lookin for your mtn bucks!
 
18 years and again no bull tag. I see the bonus point system is working great (granted it hasn't been around 18 years, but long enough to realize it is a joke). Another idea, if you draw a cow tag and don't shoot one, next year you can't apply (let the real hunters go after them). I'm so sick of listening to people ##### in the area I apply for, that they can't get a cow and yet don't step out of their vehicle to hunt. Or beter yet, drawing the tag and then asking where to go shoot one, if you don't know the area don't apply.
 
Yep the draw system is BS,thats why I concentrate on general tag areas that I can hunt every year,most of the draw tags arnt all their their stacked up to be anyways.
 
I thought the over the counter elk tag was a bull tag in most open HD's? Try out your own advice in a general unit and maybe you'll find a bull.
 
The Montana draw Gods did not bless me this year. 3 years in a row on 700 antelope as a NR with no points. Hooked up with my brother to utilize his 2 points.....AND NO 700 antelope for me this year.

just a deer b tag and points. maybe I am better getting a point for antelope this year anyway.
