My Dad and I are going to hunt this area in just a week or so. Our plan is to hunt in unit 28 around Panther Creek. Most of my research has been on this area. I have recently been wondering about unit 21A as a back up. Is anyone familiar with this area (21A). My basic question is, is this area good regardless of weather or is it more of a migratory hunt for towards the end of elk season? We will only be there one week, Oct 15th through the 22nd. We'll be coming from the north ( I-90 then 93 south)so I was thinking I might drive a road or two just to see a bit of 21A before we get to our intended hunting ground.
