Nice Mule Deer Skull(photos)

While I was out looking for sheds today I came a cross this dead buck. It had been there for at least a year. It has great brow tines for a mule deer.

This first photo is how it layed when I found it.

The rest of the top jaw broke up after I picked it up so I could get better photos of it.

Wow - that's a nice find and great pictures too. Those brow tines sure are impressive for a muley. It looks like the rack is in pretty good shape for being out in the elements for a while.

Nice find Sask. I can't believe how different the country looks where you find sheds compared to down here, I'd love to be able to walk that kind of country.
