8 Co. p-points

What would you do w/ 8 Colorado Elk preference points? I believe that I could draw the Uncompahgre in 2006, but I am open to other ideas. With the "banking" system coming up it kind of throws a twist on things...How about another unit two years in a row?

What do you guys think the loop holes will be with a banking system for the p points?

In the area that I deer hunt, about every couple of years someone does'nt draw there tag. With the banking system will you loose a point every year? How will we know if they should take a point or not? The next year that person has one point and draws for sure, in the past first choice draw you loose the point.That one kind makes me wonder......

if you have 8 p-points and you want to get a monster bull apply for the trophy unit in area 61 up on the uncompahgre. just to let you know its all down hill going into that unit. so if before you make your decision you should make sure any hill that you go down you might want to make sure you can get back up it. (dry and wet) if you need help with areas to scout out ask me or i can help you around later on in the year when it gets warmer. i've hunted up there all my life and i know where the elk are in 61. if you want help email me at [email protected]
