Any opinions on Nosler Accubonds?

I'm considering using them in the 2006 season. Mainly I'm curious how well they performed on kills. I'm shooting a 30-06 and am considering buying .338 RUM.

Just used them on my Tule Elk hunt last week. Performed quite well. If you don't count the roll that he took down the hill I would say that he traveled about 3 steps. 180 gr out of a .300 Wby. NDHunter.

4 Bull elk and a couple muley bucks taken with them so far. Absolutely outstanding penetration and performance. IMO one of the best hunting bullets you can get for the money.

Have used Nosler partitions for 30 years. Tried the Accubonds and they were more accurate in a couple of my guns. Used Accubonds this fall on a mule deer, whitetail and elk. Took the elk at 230 yds with a 160gr. out of a 7mag. All were one shot kills. So far really satisfied.

You can't go wrong with the Accubond. I've killed over 20 animals so far with them from a bull at 40 yards, to an antelope at almost 700 with a .300 Ultra. mtmuley
