1st Time appying for AZ Elk

Okay...I decided to get into the game. I understand that I need to purchase a license too. :-( Do most of you also apply for a deer tag & a sheep tag since you're buying the license? And if so, do you apply for muleys or coues. (I think I know the answer already considering our the forum name.)

I'm out to soak up any info/advice that you're all willing to share with me. Please be generous.

Forget about premium AZ deer/elk hunts, you have no chance under the current department rules.

Look for units with lots of tags as NR's can only get 10%. You could draw a tag in one of those units.

Since you got to pay the $113 up front for a license,and since I think it's only to cost just $5 to apply for other tags (antelope-sheep) heck yes, apply for them.

Worse case is you'll end up with a fistful of bonus points after the draw for your $113 Arizona donation..
