Hey guys I finally drew a ML tag for unit 76. In your opinions how big of a bull do you think is attainable in this unit and what size should I hold out for? Thanks for any help Tim

I HAVE NOT HUNTED THERE. But have followed it for 7 years and will bowhunt, for sure, next year. Hold out for 300, over 310 is very very rare. Most guys are done the first day, the rest the second morning. Tons of 280-300 bulls, very vey few over 320

You will have an AWESOME hunt, in awesome country, with tons of elk and tons of bugling and get a good bull

Bulls not doing much. Yesterday no bugles lots of
sparing by young bulls everything just low action.
Main herd running 1000 and several 100-200. All
on summer range and its very green. Rains finally stopped.

Roy I spoke with you in person and got a few DVD's, applied for 76 bow, NR but withdrew my app when it became apparent our first daughter would be very young then and it was exactly when my wife would go back to work.

Going next year for sure (I am 100% sure to draw a bow tag as a NR with 7 points)

Cannot wait.

Still very quiet. No change over a few days ago.
Saw a mt lion and 2 cubs at 13000 ft however.
Walked right up on it at 35 yards sunning itself.
My dog chasaed it a short distance. Bigger
bulls not even in the same area as the cow herds.
